I've eaten there several times, both alone and with friends/family, and I have yet to be disappointed. The prices are extremely reasonable, the service is prompt and polite, and the food is hot, fresh and tasty.
LET ME FIRST SAY THAT WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS RESTAURANT ONCE A WEEK SINCE IT OPENED (not always on the same day or at the same time) AND THAT WE HAD NEVER MET THE OWNER OR STAFF BEFORE THEN.
The food is and always has been fresh-fresh-fresh, and there has never, EVER been recycled or reheated anything. EVER. The busboys hustle the food, not the patrons, and I also do not believe that the incident above ever happened; knowing the owner and the staff as well as we do, and having observed them every time we go there, I'd much more sooner believe that the reporting patron was told "no" about something (such as, "no more beer for you") after which he got online and spewed this nonsense.
Although the menus are the same, the owners of Mexico Lindo are related but not the same as Las Margaritas. Mexico Lindo has always felt much fresher, brighter and cleaner than Las Margaritas; the food tastes fresher in Mexico Lindo because they know how how to precisely order enough to keep the meat and produce in proper quantities, which keeps all the food tasting fresh. I have had at least two dozen of the entrees on the menu, but my all-time "go to" favorite is the SOPA DE POLLO with an extra order of sliced avocado. And although I have been back a few times to las Margaritas in the last six months, it just tastes better at Mexico Lindo.
The service is equal to the best in Gainesville, and we've been to some pricey ones with robotic or mediocre service. The servers and wait staff in Mexico Lindo always have a smile and are some of the most friendly we've ever come across in all our travels, without crossing the line into "too chummy" territory.
I know of at least a dozen people who used to go to Las Margaritas all the time that no longer do, but go to Mexico Lindo instead for all the reasons I've mentioned.

the menu is basically identical to las margaritas which is great for us. Now we dont have to drive 20 minutes for the best mexican food in Gainesville. We live practically next door.
It is a smaller location, but it is also decorated much nicer. They obviously spared no expense on the decoration.
We eat here at least once a month. We love it. The food is consistanly great every time. The wait staff is very professional. Even when we go there and there is a long line waiting, they do a great job of getting everyone seated very quickly.

This restaurant is great. The wait staff is even better. Luis, the manager, is highly respectable and would never do the things the idiot above is talking about. Its a little pathetic when people have to gain attention by lying about an incident such as that. The food is so good and fresh. Everyone at this restaurant is friendly and professional.

As I came for the first time to eat there with my girlfriends, I had many problems. The first one is that when leaving my table to go use the restroom, I was pinched on my behind by one of the bus boys. When I was going to write a complaint, I had to ask my server for his name and she responded with Alex. Monica was such a rude, unattentive server. It has bad customer service within all over it. I then spoke with the manager Loius and told him the problem I had encountered with the bus boy pinching my behind and he then asked me for my number. He is a married man and you would think that he would not be all over his staff up front as he is asking me for my telephone number. I would recommend that you never bring your girlfriends there for a evening out or guys I would not bring your girlfriends there either as he may try to hit on them. This is a perverted place to eat. You cant just have a simple night without a bunch of problems. So to everyone watch where you eat.

If some Mexican dude pinched your ass at a restaurant there are two things going on with you. One you are ugly and he thought you needed the confidence boost or two you look like a slut. I know the owner and I doubt that he asked for you number he has better standards than some women trying to ruin the reputation of a prestiges chain of restaurants . So on that note go find you self a man or go to a porn store and get your self a B.O.B. Or do the world a favor and take you self out of the gene pool.

Affordable and delicious. I had the nachos and a strawberry margarita-- I was not disappointed. I was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients used. I will be back!

Ok, I think the decor is cute. The food is competent. The price is reasonable. So far the brand new restaurant is clean. So this is a good choice restaurant. But it isn't anything amazing.

We just tried this place for the first time, and were very pleased. My wife and I agreed, the chicken chimichangas were fantastic, portion sizes generous, and the price reasonable. Friendly staff and charming decor, as well. Likely to become a regular choice for us.

I went by Mexico Lindo the other day for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Their service was considerably more friendly than is standard in Gainesville. Their food was good too and pretty reasonably priced. I think Mexico Lindo will soon become a new one of my regular restaurants.
Great place!

Chicken Tacos
I eat the chicken tacos at Mexico Lindo for lunch all the time. They are the best tacos in town, hands down.

If management did nothing then you should have filed a complaint with the police.

This is the EXACT same menu as Las Margartias. Nothing new as far as food goes. Definitly not the best in town.

Doesn't the same family own both places?
Therefore wouldn't the menus be basically the same?
